CATERPILLAR MARINE TRADING SHANGHAI (CMTS)

The China based group of MaK Asia operates out of central Shanghai with workshops in Shanghai's Kangqiao area and Guangdong's Shunde. The 50 strong China-based workforce includes personnel in Prime Sales, Engineering and Project Management teams, a Product Support team totaling 25 and a small Business Administration group. The culture of stability, continuity and strong ownership of customer relationships stem from a blend of long tenure of senior personnel and new employees drafted in to support the growth in MaK brand sales and China engine population.
 

The main Kangqiao and Shunde workshops are able to offer overhaul of main engine components - cylinder heads, pistons, liners, fuel injection pumps, fuel injectors and more. The service team fully understands the Marine and Oil & Gas industries and the commitment of time and effort it takes to turn around a repair job in the often tight time window set by a vessels' schedule or the cost of lost production downtime!

Caterpillar Marine Asia Pacific

The Singapore based group of MaK Asia operates out of the Caterpillar Marine facility in Tuas. In addition to serving as the base for the 60 strong workforce, the facility also houses the main service workshop and regional parts inventory. The workforce includes personnel in Prime Sales and Project Management team, the Product Support team of 50+ and a small Business Administration group. The culture of stability, continuity and strong ownership of customer relationships stems from a blend of long tenure of key personnel and new employees drafted in to support the growth of the MaK and CM brands.

The Singapore workshop is able to offer overhaul of main engine components – cylinder heads, turbochargers, pistons, liners, fuel injection pumps, fuel injectors and more. The service team fully understands the Marine, Oil & Gas and Land Power industries and the commitment of time and effort it takes to turn around a repair job in the often tight time window set by a vessels’ schedule or the cost of lost production downtime! The main Asian parts warehouse includes a broad range of service exchange units that support the customer need for a fast turn-around time.
